Aerospace & Defense

The hard problems in space are the ones after the launch.

Constanellis builds the hardware, software, and manufacturing that get systems into orbit and keep them useful once they are there.

How we work

Four disciplines. One accountable team.

01

The gap

In space and defense, the hardware, software, analytics, and manufacturing for one program usually sit at four different vendors. Program offices spend most of their time translating requirements between them.

02

Our approach

We put those four disciplines inside one company. The engineers building ATLAS talk to the people writing the autonomy it runs on. The FORGE manufacturing floor sits under the same roof as the engineers specifying the parts. NEXUS ships with the systems it services.

03

The payoff

Fewer handoffs between disconnected vendors. Program offices get a platform that works end to end because it was built that way, by one accountable team.

Our Vision

The moon becomes infrastructure.

The current model, where every lunar mission carries its own power, communications, and thermal management, does not scale. The next decade is a transition from one-off missions to shared infrastructure that commercial and government users subscribe to.

We built Constanellis around the four layers that transition requires. Transportation, communications, autonomy, and manufacturing, coordinated as one program.

Why Constanellis
One company, four disciplines
Spacecraft hardware, autonomy and mission software, communications, and the manufacturing to build it. The teams talk to each other.
ITAR registered, U.S.-owned
Set up from the start to take federal work. The compliance is in place before the contract is signed.
Federal and commercial customers
The same systems serve government program offices and commercial operators. Different requirements, same engineering standard.
Space-grade where it counts
Hardware tested for the environment it ships into. Software the operators trust to run unattended.

Ad astra per aspera

Five centuries ago, Leonardo da Vinci studied the Moon and saw not a light in the sky, but an engineering problem. Today, we are engineering the infrastructure that will sustain human life on another world.
