Constanellis / Lunar Virtual Twin / Preview, by invitation
A clearer basis for lunar decisions.
Bring site context, energy assumptions and mission requirements into the same planning conversation. Build a scenario, preserve the reasoning and compare what changes.
The planning workflow
From a question to an inspectable decision.
A useful model keeps its assumptions within reach. Move between the site, the scenario and the comparison without losing the basis for a result.
Workflow / 01
Start with the place. Keep the source.
Use region and source planning to organize the evidence a site assessment needs. Treat coverage as a question to resolve, not a substitute for terrain or illumination analysis.
Open region planning- Bring into the workflow
- Region of interest / source records / coverage questions
- Take into review
- A starting point for evidence-led site planning
- Identify the region behind the planning question.
- Separate a source reference from data that has been analyzed.
- Keep missing coverage visible when defining the next investigation.
Evidence travels with the work
A result is only useful if you can inspect its basis.
Keep a clear line from an asset assumption to a saved scenario and its comparison. Portable records make the work reviewable beyond a single screen.
Plan the source coverage- 01
Source context
Record the provenance of asset assumptions. Use region planning to frame source and coverage needs before treating a site as characterized.
- 02
Reproducible records
Versioned scenario JSON preserves the inputs. A comparison export includes both scenarios, model assumptions and complete results.
- 03
Deliberate local control
The library is stored in your browser. Save revisions explicitly and download backups to keep a separate copy of your work.
Product direction
Building toward a commercial lunar planning platform.
The LVT target is a high-fidelity commercial SaaS environment connecting lunar site context, mission scenarios and engineering review. The current workspace is the inspectable starting point: local records, schematic interaction and assumption-driven comparisons.
What you can work with today
The energy model uses an ideal shared bus with hourly steps. Sunlight and outages are prescribed; costs are user-entered. The 3D scene is schematic, not surveyed terrain. Served-energy percentage measures energy supplied, not operational uptime.
What the platform is being built toward
High-resolution site data, validated analysis and shared project workflows are the commercial direction. The local workspace does not provide a physics solver, cloud collaboration, autonomous operations or a vendor connection.
Start with a planning question
What changes when your assumptions do?
Open a scenario and test a different energy or operating assumption. Or start with the region and the evidence your next decision needs.
