Lunar Economy Intelligence

Better decisions about the lunar economy start with comparable evidence. NEXUS is developing the data and analytical foundations for understanding what lunar infrastructure needs, what it costs, and how its parts depend on one another.

Constanellis builds five programs from the ground outward: FORGE and NEXUS on the ground, HERMES and WIRES in orbit, ATLAS on the lunar surface. NEXUS is the ground stage of that sequence.

The question

What does a working lunar economy require?

A mission budget describes one mission. An economy connects many: transportation, power, communications, manufacturing, and the organizations that depend on them. NEXUS studies those connections so assumptions can be compared and gaps can be identified.

The work brings together a measurement corpus, a price index, an input/output model, and a coordination layer. These are development areas, with methods and coverage to be established as the work progresses.

What we are developing.

A traceable measurement corpus

Organize observations with their sources, units, dates, and limitations. Preserve the distinction between measured results, estimates, and proposed capabilities so a comparison does not turn an assumption into a fact.

Price and infrastructure analysis

Study costs and dependencies across the lunar economy. An input/output model can help show how a change in one service affects the others, while subsidy-gap analysis examines where an activity's costs and available demand do not yet meet.

Coordination around shared needs

Identify where organizations face related requirements. The coordination layer is intended to make those connections easier to understand, with the evidence and assumptions available for review.

A sourced brief

The question, the evidence that bears on it, and the evidence that does not yet exist, each item carrying its source, date, units, and stated limits.

A dependency view

How the service you are deciding on depends on transportation, power, communications, and manufacturing, and what a change in one moves in the others. Labeled as analysis, never as measured market fact.

A price and cost register

Published and estimated figures kept apart, with the assumption behind each estimate written down so it can be challenged.

A corrections trail

When a source revises or a figure is retracted, the brief revises with it, and the change is recorded.

  • No lunar market figure on this site is a measured fact; every figure is a published source or a labeled estimate.
  • NEXUS does not run models for customers, host shared accounts, or sell a subscription today. The research workspace on this site is a browser-local preview.
  • Nothing here is investment advice, and no third-party organization is named as a customer or partner.

    You describe the decision, the geography or service, and the evidence you already hold, at a non-sensitive level.

    We reply with what the evidence can and cannot establish, and what a brief would contain. No work is proposed before that.

  3. Deliver

    The brief arrives with its sources, assumptions, and limits attached, and a corrections path if a source moves.
